Unit 7.2B: Earth's Dynamic Surface

In this unit, students discover that even though Michigan is not near a plate boundary or on the flanks of an
active volcano, the environment is dynamic and changing. Natural processes have always changed the surface of the Earth. The focus shifts to surface processes on Earth that are driven by energy from the sun, which ultimately causes matter to move around.
