Create a Mi-STAR Account
Teachers new to Mi-STAR receive a personalized registration link from their Mi-STAR Professional Learning Facilitator (PLF). Not sure who your PLF is? Please reach out, and we'll connect you to your PLF or provide professional learning support to your district.
Sign Up for Introductory Professional Learning
Phase 1: Introduction to the Curriculum consists of two components:
- Phase 1 PLC sessions - Virtual synchronous training is available in August, September, and January each year. Alternatively, a local Mi-STAR professional learning facilitator may provide face-to-face training. PLC topics include unit structure, lesson structure, and assessment opportunities and applications.
- A Unit Prep Course - New Mi-STAR teachers complete the asynchronous Mi-STAR unit prep course in MTU’s Canvas platform for their first unit.
