Mi-STAR Academy: Online PD for Michigan Science Standards

Mi-STAR is approved by the Michigan Department of Education as a professional development provider through the State School Aid Act, Section 99s(5) “Professional Development (PD) Support for Teachers in STEM Instruction.”

The Mi-STAR Academy is a series of online modules that provide educators with the resources and skills to develop curriculum aligned with the newly-adopted Michigan Science Standards. These modules provide approximately 15 hours of instruction time, and can be taken at your convenience between February and August 2016.  Applications are now being accepted for Mi-STAR Academy.  For more information,  visit https://mi-star.mtu.edu/mi-star-academy/.
