Mi-STAR Partners with Kendall Hunt to Offer Printed Student Workbooks and More

Mi-STAR has big news!

We’re excited to announce that we’re partnering with publisher Kendall Hunt to produce printed workbooks and provide nationwide access to the Mi-STAR curriculum, under the name Anchored Science by Mi-STAR.

What does this mean for Michigan teachers and districts using the Mi-STAR curriculum? 

Michigan teachers and districts will continue to work directly with the Mi-STAR staff and website for subscriptions, units, resources, and professional learning opportunities.

And, in response to teachers’ requests, Michigan teachers and districts will soon have the option to purchase Anchored Science by Mi-STAR student workbooks and companion teacher editions directly from Kendall Hunt.

Workbooks to accompany 12 select units will be available for order in advance of the upcoming school year. The workbooks will be branded under the name Anchored Science by Mi-STAR, and will include the same great content you know and teach. They will include any updates that Mi-STAR is making to units for the fall. Stay tuned for an announcement when ordering is available.

The Mi-STAR team at Michigan Tech looks forward to continuing to serve Michigan teachers and districts. Kendall Hunt will be representing Mi-STAR outside of Michigan to offer the product to schools and districts across the country. This partnership will allow us to continue to provide you with high-quality curriculum and training for the foreseeable future.
